Papara Mountain Side Lodge

Set on a green hillside in Papara, Papara Mountain Side Lodge is family-run and offers self-catering accommodation in a peaceful, authentic setting typical of Tahiti's west coast.

Our fully-equipped tiny houses and chalets offer self-catering accommodation. Each unit has a view of the valley, mountains or ocean, in the heart of a natural environment. Daily life on site follows a simple rhythm, punctuated from time to time by the passing of our cows.

The guesthouse is just a few minutes from beaches, surf spots, shops and coastal hiking trails. A discreet but well-preserved marae bears witness to the site’s cultural roots.

Breakfast, available on request, is served on the terrace or as a buffet, depending on how busy you are. It is prepared with local produce and, depending on the season, fruit from the garden. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

The welcome is simple and warm. In the spirit of haere marū, everyone is free to enjoy the place at their own pace, in complete tranquility.
