How to get to Marlon Brando’s island, Tetiaroa, and how to get around once you arrive.
Getting to Tetiaroa
Most visitors come to Tetiaroa on a sailboat cruise. There are several companies which offer excursions by catamaran or boat from Tahiti. The voyage takes about three hours, depending on conditions and the method of transport.
The other way to get to the atoll is by plane with Air Tetiaroa from Tahiti-Faa’a International Airport. The flight takes about 20 minutes and has a magnificent view of the atoll when you arrive. *Only guests of The Brando can fly to the island.
It is also possible to fly to Tetiaroa by helicopter with Tahiti Nui Helicopters. Contact the company for details and reservations well in advance.
Getting around on Tetiaroa
Marlon Brando’s atoll is a preserved site and the only means of transport is by bike, for hotel guests, or by foot.
