A Unique Concept on Moorea

Dominique and Philippe, the owners of the Restaurant Lounge “Le Lézard Jaune Café”, warmly welcome you in their friendly establishment with a modern and local design.
The originality of the concept consists in the Plancha cooking, but also in the original presentation of the skewers which are suspended on an adapted gallows.
Cooking a la Plancha highlights the flavors of local products such as peeled Opunohu shrimp, semi-cooked Red Tuna, Swordfish or Mahi-mahi…
It offers a perfect cooking to Lamb chops, Beef, Whole duck breast from South-West France, Foie Gras and Chicken/Chorizo sauce, but also to local vegetables which keep their crunchiness. Note that each skewer is at least 250 g.
For desserts, in addition to the handcrafted ice creams with fresh fruits from Moorea and the “Melting Heart” Chocolate Moelleux, Pineapple and Banana are also skewered to be caramelized or flambéed with white rum from Moorea.
